We know how important it is to get this addressed. We understand that you have concerns about downloading the shared OneDrive folder without signing into a Microsoft account, as this is no longer happening on your end when doing such. Thank you for reaching out here at the Microsoft Community Forum. The same thing happens if you go into the folder and select all of the individual files to download at one time - a sign in box pops up and you can't go any further unless you sign in or deselect all but one file.Īny ideas on how to accomplish this? Do I have a setting somewhere that is blocking this functionality? Or has Microsoft changed the way sharing happens with onedrive? (I hope not, because this would render onedrive useless for me.) In the past, the entire folder would download as a zip file. This is important because the folder contains 200+ photos and they would have to do 200+ individual downloads to get all the images. Now, when I share a folder with multiple files in it, they cannot download the entire folder without signing in to Microsoft (onedrive, hotmail, etc.) They can download an individual file without signing in, but they cannot download the entire folder at one time. I used to be able to share a folder with someone that does not have a Microsoft account and the entire folder could be downloaded by that person.
